Impulsa el CECUT de Tijuana educación musical en la región fronteriza entre México y Estados Unidos

-La Dra. Vianka Santana firma acuerdo de apoyo a la Fundación de Artes Musicales (FAM) y la Orquesta de Baja California conforme a políticas de la nueva Secretaria de Cultura mexicana

TIJUANA, B.C.- “La relación de la Orquesta de Baja California con el Centro Cultural Tijuana siempre ha sido una relación creativa y de mutuo acuerdo en beneficio de la comunidad, a través de conciertos, proyectos conjuntos y coproducciones”, planteó la Dra. Vianka Santana, directora general del CECUT, organismo de la Secretaría de Cultura, momentos antes de suscribir un convenio de colaboración con la Fundación de las Artes Musicales (FAM) que encabeza la Lic. Alma Delia García Ábrego.

“Nos es muy grato dar continuidad a los proyectos sustantivos que nos vinculan con la FAM y que han animado gran parte de la oferta cultural del CECUT, especialmente la Orquesta de Baja California, porque tenemos muy claro, tanto como ciudadanos y miembros de la comunidad artística, y ahora como servidores públicos, que la Orquesta tiene un origen en el CECUT”, precisó la funcionaria federal.

Por ello, señaló, hablar de la Orquesta de Baja California es hablar también de la historia del Centro, toda vez que desde su origen esta institución ha sido sede de sus presentaciones y conciertos.

“Estamos convencidos de la importancia de este proyecto tan relevante para la región y queremos seguir siendo sede de estos conciertos magníficos que han traído no solamente públicos, que es muy relevante en este nuevo ciclo en que tanto interesan los derechos de las audiencias, creemos que al mismo tiempo ha sido formativo y la gente ha aprendido a entender las lógicas de la música, del concierto, de la parte que le toca hacer al espectador y esto es producto de un trabajo muy constante entre ambas instituciones”, añadió la Dra. Santana.

“No creo en los proyectos de una sola vez”, aclaró, “no creo tanto en la promoción cultural esporádica en las comunidades, creo que solo los proyectos que se ejercen de manera permanente pueden incidir y cambiar la sociedad, y eso es lo que ha pasado con los conciertos de la Orquesta, en particular su serie de Los Clásicos de la OBC, amén de los demás proyectos que han vinculado a ambas instituciones”.

Si bien el convenio CECUT-FAM establece las bases para la continuidad del intercambio recíproco, se trata también “de un proyecto académico, formativo, que tiene que ver con el derecho de acceso a la cultura, la circulación de la riqueza cultural y nosotros lo vemos más que nada como un intercambio muy provechoso para la comunidad”, sostuvo la directora general del CECUT.

Por su parte, la Lic. García Ábrego agradeció la generosidad del Centro Cultural Tijuana para albergar las presentaciones no solo de la Orquesta de Baja California, sino de otros proyectos incubados en el Centro de Artes Musicales (CAM) que forma parte de la Fundación.

En principio, el convenio de intercambio garantiza la presentación de 29 conciertos de la OBC a lo largo del presente año, además de otros proyectos específicos que detallaron los responsables de las distintas áreas que aglutina la Fundación de Artes Musicales: los maestros Gabriel “Gabo” Núñez, de Tijuana Music School, y Emiliano López, en representación de la Orquesta de Baja California, así como las maestras Socorro Curiel, de la Escuela de Formación Escénico Vocal Ja’sít; Gloria Duarte, titular del Programa Redes 2025 y directora académica del CAM, y Dzaya Castillo, del sistema de Coros Comunitarios, quien anticipó que el Festival Internacional Coralifornia se llevará a cabo en agosto próximo en la Sala de Espectáculos del CECUT.

"I do not believe so much in the sporadic cultural promotion in the communities, I think that only projects that are permanently exercised can influence and change society, and that's what it has happened with the concerts of the Orchestra, in particular its series of The Classics of the OBC, in addition to the other projects that have linked to both institutions ".

Although the CECUT-FAM agreement establishes the bases for the continuity of reciprocal exchange, it is also "an academic, formative project that has to do with the right of access to culture, the circulation of cultural richness and we see, more than anything, as a very productive exchange for the community, "said the general director of the CECUT.

For her part, Ms. García Ábrego thanked the Tijuana Cultural Center for its generosity to host the presentations not only of the Baja California Orchestra, but also of other projects incubated at the Musical Arts Center (CAM) that it is part of the Foundation.
