Corruption is at its best but the residents of Sunnyside do not buy it and want change by going to the ballot box in November.
Sunnyside City Council requested an investigation into City Manager Mike Gonzalez in early August and put him on administrative leave with pay and without cause.
The witch-hunt began and in 30 days the investigator hired by the City of Sunnyside asked for a 30-day extension and at the end of the 60 days, the investigation continued and at the end of another 30-day extension the investigator was done
The investigation ended in 90 days, and no extension was needed and finally the investigator gave a report to the City Attorney, and he found NADA, Nothing and advised the City Council NO findings of any criminal acts or grounds of firing.
The report had not been read by the Council members Monday night and still they made an a decision in firing Mike Gonzalez, 90 days of investigation and the council could not wait for a copy to read and went on making an decision for they had already were in Cajustes with 5 of the council members, their minds were made up even though the report came out negative and no finding of any wrong doing by Mike Gonzalez, construed corruption.
Construed corruption by Mayor Dean Broarsma, Jorge Galvan, Teresa Hancock, Keren Vasquez and Vickey Ripley the voters are not dumb and will vote for a change at the ballot box in November and immediately start a recall of Jorge Galvan.
It was very clear that after 30 days the investigator could not find anything wrong about Mike Gonzalez work – some are questioning why Mike Gonzalez would not turn over the code to open the city cellular phone that was given to Mike Gonzalez and his excuse was that he could not remember the code and also Mike Gonzalez could not trust anyone from the City Council or many at the City hall for he was afraid that they would plant something awful into the phone such as Child Pornography, or sexual photos in the phone to give reason or cause of firing.
There is so much corruption and lies on behalf of the City Council members against Mike Gonzalez as you can see they would go to any extent to find reason to fire Mike Gonzalez and I agree that these corrupted individuals would dump pornography or child porn into his phone to get him fired, they did not have that chance and so they came up reasons of their own, not the investigation information to fire Mike Gonzalez.
Jorge Galvan and his wife Laural took towels from the Hotel in Olympia and then tried to pin it on Mike Gonzalez when Theresa Hancock challenged Mike Gozalez during a City Council meeting and Jorge Galvan sat silenced during the discussion, knowing the truth of the missing towels.
Theresa Hancock has a history of being drunk in public and smelling with alcohol from her breath or strong odors of alcohol that has been reported by other council members and questioned Theresa at the time and then Theresa only telling them to F_____ off.
It’s been reported to La Voz that Keren Vasquez family was living in a local church and were told to remove all family and personal belongings by the City of Sunnyside code enforcement and would not listen to where the city was almost forced to put the law to remove them from the Church and finally left the church.
Also, La Voz was given information that Vicky Ripley enjoys smoking marijuana and many times attended meetings with dark classes to hide her red eyes or blurry eyes, information provided to La Voz by other Council members and many times her clothes reeked of marijuana smell. She later started wearing clear glasses once it was asked by the media if this was true to the Councilwoman but, ignored the question by La Voz.

It’s time to make a Change in Sunnyside and get rid of the corruption and lies.
