Certain fireworks will be allowed in Pasco for New Year’s Eve

PASCO, WA. - Pasco residents will be allowed to buy and use certain fireworks to celebrate this New Year's Eve.

Earlier this year, the city lifted a 22 year ban that outlawed the use and selling of some fireworks within city limits.

Legal fireworks include smoke devices, cone fountains, dipped sticks, sparklers, ground spinners, novelties, wheels and cylindrical fountains. Airborne fireworks are illegal.

Legal fireworks are allowed to be lit starting at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 and ending at 1 a.m. on Jan. 1.
