Walla Walla Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal stabbing

WALLA WALLA, WA.- Walla Walla County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal stabbing. The victim died at the hospital.
Action News spoke with Sheriff Mark Crider who couldn't give us too many details now as it is an active investigation.
The stabbing came in as a 911 call and deputies made contact with the reporting party while they were on the way to the hospital.
Deputies met up with them at a weigh station on highway 12, just east of Walla Walla.
We do know the victim's body is now with the coroner.
The identity of the victim will be released after the family is notified.
